About the Fellowship
Uganda needs more capable, committed STEM teachers - especially women - who can help learners build skills and confidence. Fellows with strong STEM backgrounds are placed in secondary schools and developed as teachers, mentors, and role models. Teaching is framed as leadership: subject mastery plus classroom leadership, creativity, and commitment to learner growth.

Eligibility (mandatory)
- Female Ugandan citizen or refugee currently residing in Uganda
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with minimum CGPA 3.0
- Aged 22 - 27 at the time of application
- Proficient in English
- Willing to be placed in any USE secondary school
- Willing to complete the fully funded 1-year PGDE in the first year
- Passionate about education equity, leadership, and community change
